The diameter of this mushroom usually varies from 3 to 15 cm. Spore powder is olive-brown. It grows under larches from July to October, both in larch nurseries and in parks. It is quite common in Latvia. Edible and very tasty when fried without boiling. Good for pickling. The peel of its cap should be taken away first.
