Parastā cinobrpiepe

English name: Cinnabar Bracket
Deutschen Namen: Zinnoberschwamm, Zinnoberrote Tramete

Samērā izplatīta vidēju izmēru neēdama piepe. Visbiežāk sastopama uz bērzu kritalām.

The size of this bracket fungus usually varies from 2 to 10 cm across. Spore powder is white. The entire fruit-body is bright orange-red, especially tubes. It grows on the dead dry trunks and branches of deciduous trees, especially mountain ash and birch, from July to October. It is rather common in Latvia. Inedible.
