Its diameter rarely exceeds 3 cm.
Spore powder is beige. It grows in coniferous forests from March to May.
Inedible fungus. It is believed to be very rare in Latvia. However, it
has been reported to have been quite abundant (up to hundreds of
fruit-bodies in a single locality) in 2012. One growth site has been
found by the photographer of this website in 2008.
Neēdama askusēne. Domājams, visumā ļoti reta, taču 2012. gada
pavasarī tika ziņots par tās atrašanu neparasti lielā skaitā (pat
simtiem augļķermeņu vienuviet). Vienu atradni 2008. gadā Ogres apkārtnē
ir uzgājis šīs vietnes fotogrāfs.
