This fungus can be up
30 cm wide, and it has a very short stipe. Spore powder is white to straw-colored.
Usually a single or few fungi grow at the base of a pine or a larch trunk from July to September.
It grows in parks, forests and avenues. It is rare in Latvia. Inedible.
Reti sastopama neēdama piepe.
