Deutsche Name: Glänzender Lackporling
The
stalk of this fungus can be as tall as 15 cm
and as wide as a dinner plate (in countries other than Latvia). It grows on stumps, mostly deciduous, from July to
September. Spore powder is
red-brown. Inedible. This fungus is very rare in this country and is included in the Red Data Book of
Latvia. One growth site has been found near the town of Baldone by the author of this
website. Another one has been found by the photographer about a dozen
kilometers away.

šīs vietnes autore Baldones lauku teritorijā (ap 2000. gadu; pēdējais apsekojums 2007. gadā, ar pozitīvu rezultātu),
vēl citu atradni - šīs vietnes fotogrāfs Daugmales pagastā (2011. gadā).
