The diameter of its cap usually does not exceed 6 cm, and its stalk can be up to 25 cm high. Spore powder is black. When it becomes older, it starts producing black ink, which can be used for writing on a paper! It grows in grasslands, mostly in suburban areas, along grassy paths from June to October. It is very common in Latvia. Edible when young, one can fry it without boiling.
