Deutschen Namen: Nördlicher Stachelseitling; Riesen-Stachelseitling
This tooth fungus can be up to 40 cm high and 20 cm wide.
The fruiting body has many white teeth under its caps. Spore powder
is white. It grows on living maples from the middle of summer till fall.
It is rather rare in Latvia. Inedible.
