The
diameter of this mushroom usually varies from 4 to 9 cm.
Spore powder is yellow. It grows usually in rich clusters on stumps of coniferous
and deciduous trees. Its
growing season is from September to October. It is very rare in
Latvia. It is edible after boiling. Some people may
suffer digestive upsets
from this mushroom.
