Bālā mušmire

Syn.: Amanita mappa
English name: False Deathcap
Deutsche Name: Gelber Knollenblätterpilz

The size of this mushroom can range from 4 to 12 cm in diameter. Its cap has light greenish color. Spore powder is white. It grows in coniferous forests in acidulous soil from July to November. It is very common in Latvia. Some specimens can easily be mistaken for Amanita phalloides (Death Cap). Slightly poisonous.
